Iran Says Its Near-Final Deal With Oman Will Ban US and Israeli Ships From the Strait of Hormuz

Iran says it has agreed with Oman on the exact routes ships will use through the Strait of Hormuz, but the arrangement would still ban American and Israeli vessels and fine violators up to 20 percent of their cargo value. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the strait will not fully reopen until the United States corrects its behavior and compensates Iran for war damage.
