Terms of Service

By accessing or using SpeakBase ("the App"), operated by SafotSheli ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

SpeakBase is a language learning platform that provides flashcard-based study tools, spaced repetition (SmartMemory™), quiz libraries, AI-generated content, and teacher-student collaboration features. The App is available in free and premium tiers.

To use the App, you must sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose. • Upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems. • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers. • Share your account credentials with others. • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.

All content provided through the App, including quiz sets, flashcards, learning materials, and the SmartMemory™ algorithm, is owned by SafotSheli or its content contributors and is protected by Israeli and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Content you create (custom flashcards, quiz sets) remains yours, but you grant us a license to store and display it within the App.

Premium features are available through a paid subscription. Payment terms, pricing, and billing cycles are presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with Israeli consumer protection laws.

Teachers may create classes, assign activities, and monitor student progress. Teachers are responsible for using the App in compliance with their institution's policies and applicable education regulations. Teacher accounts require approval by an administrator.

The App includes AI-powered features for generating flashcards and study materials. AI-generated content is provided as a learning aid and may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. Users should review and verify AI-generated materials.

We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, SafotSheli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
